This year’s Central Oregon Builder’s Association 2008 Tour of Homes Award Winners showcased brilliantly designed homes priced from $207,950 to $3.2 million, and highlighted some of the biggest names in construction and design from the region.

According to Mike Jensen, director of communications for COBA, the trend this year was green-built homes.

“We have 22 homes in the green-built category this year,” Jensen said, adding that the second trend seen this year was the quality and functionality of homes in the $200,000 to $400,000 price range. “Of course, there are also plenty of homes in the luxury category which people always enjoy.”
In the Best of Show category, Pahlisch Homes took home two awards, more than any other company, for a 2,292-square-foot, $799,900 home located in Deschutes Landing, and 3,398-square-foot, $624,900 homes in the Bridges, both built in Bend.

Here are descriptions of each Best of Show winner from the 2008 COBA Tour of Homes. For a complete list and descriptions of all winners in all categories see page 19 of this issue of CBN.
