Northwest ENERGY STAR has named SolAire Homebuilders of Bend the 2009/2010 Oregon Builder of the Year. Awards have been given annually since 2006 to builders and verification companies that support the advancement of Northwest ENERGY STAR new homes throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Montana.
SolAire Homebuilders stood out last year for their efforts in building high quality, energy efficient homes, for marketing and educating home buyers, and for exceptional contributions to building and promoting energy efficient homes in your community. “We are impressed with SolAire’s commitment to building a superior quality home, and to using energy resources wisely, ensuring affordable energy for future generations,” explained Claire Fulenwider, Executive Director Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance. Awards were judged on a range of criteria including the builder’s number of ENERGY STAR homes built during the last three years, their marketing and sales efforts and commitment to quality. “SolAire Homebuilders has truly proven to be a leader in the green building industry,” said Anne Brink, Marketing Manager for Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance.
