Bend 2030 Vision is a broad, inclusive community-based effort with an action plan beginning in 2006 involving thousands of community members, agencies, and key stakeholders who helped lay the groundwork for the vision elements and implementation of the action items.

In 2008, Bend 2030 continues to move forward and the vision is taking hold. More than 80 percent of the action items are being worked on through collaborative and meaningful partnerships. Bend 2030 has over 60 Lead Partners representing Action items.
