The League of Women Voters of Deschutes County will sponsor a luncheon next week on Sept. 4 from 11:30am to 1pm at King’s Buffet in Bend's Wagner Mall, located at 2050 N.E. Third Street,, to discuss how the Bend Community Center will be affected by cutbacks at local homeless shelters, as well as other topics.
