Umpqua Bank marketing representative Craig Hunt, who grew up in Redmond, will drive a moving truck custom designed by the bank throughout its service territory for the remainder of the summer as part of a new marketing program Umpqua is kicking off this weekend in Sunriver at the JELD-WEN Tradition gold tournament.

Hunt, who graduated from Portland State University in 2006 with a B.S. in marketing, will drive the van from Central Oregon through Washington and California to promote a new online service, called e-SwitchKit, offered by Umpqua Bank that allows consumers to open a new bank account with Umpqua by visiting its website.

An Umpqua Bank representative said the e-SwitchKit is capable of moving retail bank accounts and automatic payment information from non-Umpqua accounts to Umpqua at the push of a button.

The bank says it is the only community bank in country to provide the service. Information: www.umpquabank.com
