A syndicate of Central Oregon outdoor recreation tour companies came together to create an online booking service, recreateoregon.com, and a telephone number, 541/593-8895 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting 541/593-8895 end_of_the_skype_highlighting, for people interested in exploring the outdoor adventures that are available throughout the region.
Perviously, recreation enthusiasts had to make reservations with individual tour companies. The new service aims to make it easier for people by creating a one-stop booking system for all of Central Oregon.
Past-times that can be reserved through the system include scenic flights, paddle trips, geocaching, rock climbing, ATV, mountain bike tours, scooter and personal watercraft rentals, glider rides, and whitewater rafting, among others.
The participating companies include Central Oregon Adventures, Chockstone Climbing Guides, Osprey Adventures, Sun Country Tours, Cog Wild Bicycle Tours, Lava Lands Adventure Tours, Mountain Mopeds and Sunriver Soaring.
