City Club of Central Oregon Presents Energizing the Clean Economy for Oregon Communities

Cylvia Hayes, Oregon’s ‘First Lady,’ Founder and CEO of 3E Strategies, program director for the West Coast Clean Economy Collaborative will share her vision of community development across our state.

In the midst of these economic doldrums, communities all across Oregon are searching for opportunities to build and grow.  Join the City Club of Central Oregon on October 20th as Oregon’s ‘First Lady’ Cylvia Hayes shares her vision of community development across our state.

The West Coast Clean Economy Collaborative (WCCEC) focuses on three areas offering particularly robust opportunities for Oregon communities:

  • Clean Energy Development
  • Rural Assets and Opportunities
  • 21st Century Workforce

Hays has 22 years of professional experience in sustainable energy, economic development, workforce development, green building, waste prevention and sustainable forestry and agriculture. She served as member and co-chair of the Oregon Renewable Energy Working Group which developed the state Renewable Energy Standard, Renewable Fuels Standard and other clean energy policies. She has considerable training and expertise in collaborative leadership skills and is a fellow of the American Leadership Forum.
