Central Oregon Builders Association (COBA) announced that they are partnering with the local auto dealerships to bring an new auto show back to Central Oregon in 2012 .

On May 4-6 the public will have the opportunity to see the entire new car product on the market.

“This will be a great way to see what Central Oregon Auto Dealers have to offer,” said Tim Knopp, executive vice president of COBA. “COBA hopes that this event will encourage community members to buy their cars from local dealers.”

This unique venue will allow thousands of attendees an opportunity to see in one weekend what they’ve been missing. The auto show will feature Subaru of Bend, Lithia’s Hondas and Chevrolet and Cadillac, and Carrera’s Volkswagens, BMW’s and Porsches. There will even be lenders on site if you get the urge to buy a new car right away.

Matt Thomas of Subaru of Bend said, “We are excited that COBA approached us with this partnership, it is always difficult to find ways to get our new product in front of buyers, and I look forward to seeing everyone the first weekend in May.”

The Deschutes County Fairgrounds provides the luxury of a more relaxed opportunity for the often hesitant public to view many different cars in one location. The auto dealers will have local representatives available if you have questions. They will be fully equipped with offices for the more motivated buyer, and financing professionals will be on hand to assist if you feel compelled to drive that new car home right then.

This event will team up with the Spring Home and Garden Show.

The $7 admission will allow for community members to see two shows for the price of one. There will be discounts available. The entry price is good for all weekend.

“Outside of a home purchase, one of the biggest purchases a person will have is a car or truck. There is no better way to highlight both of the items then coming to see both shows” said Knopp.
