On Wednesday, May 16, Deschutes County will auction eight parcels of land. The properties are located in Bend, Redmond and southern Deschutes County.
Auction bidding starts at 10am in the Barnes Hearing Room in the Deschutes Services Center at 1300 NW Wall Street in Bend.
Bidders may register in advance any business day between Tuesday, May 8 and Tuesday, May 15 at the Property & Facilities Department office, 14 NW Kearney Street in Bend between the hours of 9am-4pm. Registration forms can also be found on the Deschutes County website www.deschutes.org/PublicAuction .
All bidders must pay full price for County land they have purchased in cash or cashier’s check. Financing is available for property sold for $25,000 or more:
- 20 percent non-refundable cash down payment AND
- Balance in equal monthly installments over 10 years at 5 percent fixed interest OR
- Second/final payment in 30 days
