Native Thunder Motorcycle Show & Shine and Poker Run to Benefit the Warm Springs Boys & Girls Club

Indian Head Casino, on Highway 26 in Warm Springs, is hosting the 2nd annual Poker Run on Saturday May 19.

Proceeds from entry fees and a fundraiser BBQ lunch will go toward operational costs at the Warm Springs Boys and Girls Club.

Northwest Cycle is organizing the day’s activities with sign-ups starting at 9:30am. Kickstands will be up at noon. There will also be a Free Youth Bike and Scooter Clinic from noon until 3pm with a “show and shine” of their own, a bike repair station, safety obstacle course and a raffle drawing, that includes two new bicycles, for all youth participants.

The Warm Springs Boys and Girls Club will also be doing a raffle drawing for Sisters Rodeo Tickets and there will be a Schwan’s Truck Sale on site – with a portion of the day’s profits benefiting the club.

“I’m really excited to add a youth element to the Native Thunder Show and Shine this year” said Club Director June Smith. “Kids can come down and shine up their bikes and scooters and have some physical activity. There will be raffle tickets for all the kids who come down – and I think they’ll really like checking out the motorcycles too! Big thanks to the Native Thunder organizers for their generosity and also to Indian Head Casino for sponsoring the BBQ and hosting the event.”
