Redmond Community Honors School District Employees

The school year will kick off with an appreciation lunch sponsored by the Redmond Rotary Club and Mid Oregon Federal Credit Union on September 6.

Showing their support and appreciation to all Redmond School District employees, the two organizations will hosting a picnic-style luncheon.

“We are pleased on behalf of the Redmond community to show our appreciation for the employees of the Redmond School District who play such a vital role in inspiring our children to become life-long learners” said Liz Farruggia, Rotary Club President.

Scheduled to launch the new school year, the event includes a welcome from Superintendent Mike McIntosh.

McIntosh said, “The strength of our District is our teachers and employees who are dedicated to every student’s personal growth.  It is their creativity and passion that helps each student master standards that will lead to future success.”

More than 200 school district employees will be attending the luncheon being held at American Legion Park on Thursday, September 6 from 11:30 to 1:30.
