One-by-one, family-by-family, community-by-community Freedom Wellness Center and 8 Weeks to Wellness has been transforming bodies and lives all over the country. The program has grown tremendously over the years due to patient demand and their comprehensive approach to healthcare.

The wellness program has expanded and is growing across the country and soon Freedom Wellness Center will be offering the 8 Weeks to Wellness Corporate Challenge! Corporate Fitness – why is it important?

“Companies are losing billions of dollars annually in medical expenses, benefit claims, and lost productivity caused by sick leave and absenteeism. This is due largely to the fact that the overweight epidemic affects two-thirds of the U.S. adults,” said Dr. Pamela Cobbs, co-owner of Freedom Wellness Center. “We have to take the focus off of sickness and put it on wellness.”

To combat this issue, Freedom Wellness Center and 8 Weeks to Wellness has a dynamic wellness program for Central Oregon companies. “Introducing your employees to healthier, active lifestyle generates success in all aspects of their lives,” stated Dr. Jeff Cobbs co-owner of Freedom Wellness Center. Studies reveal that employers can save an average of $1,200 a year on employees who reduce their cholesterol and nearly $200 a year for every employee who goes from obese to a healthy weight. Moreover, corporate wellness programs provide an overall 3:1 return on investment and reduce expenditures by 25-30 percent in an average of three years, according to a study by Ron Goetzel, Ph.D., director of the Cornell University Institute for Health and Productivity Studies and the US Government Special Report on Obesity Costs and Work.

“The truth is that having a healthy, happy, productive front line positively affects your bottom line. Your employees are your most important assets” stated Dr. Pam.

The 8 Weeks to Wellness Corporate Challenge is specifically designed to motivate employees and teach them how to get fit and stay healthy. It will provide companies with an all-in-one solution to promote health and wellness within their organizations. The program is packed with educational resources, motivational tools, and positive rewards, intended to empower employees to make positive lifestyle decisions that will affect their health for the better.

Freedom Wellness Center will begin rolling out the new program in the Fall of 2012. Schedule a workplace orientation and learn more by calling 541-389-0263 or visit their website at www.FreedomWellnessCenter.com
