Now Available through Oregon Spirit Distillers’ new “Adopt A Barrel” program

Oregon Spirit Distillers offers an opportunity for early access to Oregon’s First Winter Wheat whiskey – produced over the summer from locally harvested grains, onsite the Bend distillery.  The spirit will age on-site in 30-gallon oak barrels for two years, maturing to a smooth, full flavored whiskey before it is released in the summer of 2014 for enjoyment.

20 barrels are available for ‘adoption’ through this unique program, which brings fine spirit enthusiasts into the fold of artisan, hand crafted spirit making.

Adopt A Barrel members will receive a guaranteed reserve – two cases – of this special, limited release spirit and a number of additional takeaways and privileges, including the opportunity to name the release and participate in the bottling experience.  Adopt A Barrel members will also receive a one year membership in the Oregon Spirit Distiller’s Choice program, designed to provide area locals with opportunities throughout the year to enjoy the distillery’s other seasonally produced spirits, not available in retail outlets.

Oregon Spirit Distillers is a family-owned company based in Bend.  The company is known for its quality spirits, produced on-site from Oregon ingredients.  Their family of five commercially available products – CW Irwin Bourbon, Black Mariah Marionberry Cordial, Merrylegs Genever, Oregon Spirit Vodka and Wild Card Absinthe – are available for purchase throughout Oregon.  Oregon Spirit products can also be sampled in the Tasting Room at 490 Butler Market Road, Suite 120 in Bend.
