Redmond Airport Announces American Airline’s RDM to LAX Inagural Celebration

Come join the inaugural celebration at the Redmond Municipal Airport (RDM) on Thursday June 13 at 7:15am at the Airport Terminal for the first departure flight from RDM to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on American Airlines.

 

Festivities will include speeches from American Airline officials, the Mayor of the City of Redmond, and other local community leaders. Passengers on the inaugural flight will receive VIP service to include a “red carpet” welcome as they board the aircraft and a water salute as the aircraft departs RDM provided by the Redmond Fire and Rescue.

 

American Airlines will operate daily service from RDM to LAX with a CRJ-200 aircraft with 50 passenger seats. The scheduled departure time from RDM is 8:10am with a return flight from LAX scheduled to arrive at 8:55pm. The flight time is 2 hours and 15 minutes.

 

The Redmond Municipal Airport (Roberts Field – RDM) is the aviation gateway to Central Oregon. Owned and operated by the City of Redmond, the airport offers a full range of general and commercial aviation services. RDM is served by four air carriers; Alaska Air, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and United with 15 daily direct flights to Denver, Los Angeles, Portland, San Francisco, Salt Lake City, and Seattle. www.flyrdm.com.
