The Tom Hacker Creative Award is an annual honor given to a member of the Central Oregon ad community who continually raises the bar for excellence in marketing communications, inspires creativity in others, and uses creative work to achieve business goals and objectives. The late Tom Hacker exemplified all of these things and this award was established in his memory.

Past recipients include DVA Advertising on behalf of Tom Hacker, Paul Evers, creative director; Tim Underwood, audio producer; Cam Davis, senior copywriter; Kevin Archer, creative director; René Bristow Mitchell, account manager; Kathy Valenti, senior copywriter;  Mike Houska, photographer; Chris (Rubin) Michaelis, creative director; Jeff Dooley, creative director; Pamela Trow Johnson, designer/illustrator, David Uttley, creative director; Bill Chiaravalle, creative director and Shelli Walters, Creative Director.
