Redmond Municipal Airport Announces Additional Alaska Airlines Flight

An additional daily Alaska Airlines flight will begin service Monday, November 4, 2013. The additional flight will offer early morning service to Portland, Oregon (PDX). Alaska Airlines flight number 2022 is scheduled to depart Redmond (RDM) at 5:10am, arriving in Portland (PDX) at 6am. 

 

The passenger screening checkpoint operated by TSA at RDM will open at 3:45am daily beginning November 04, 2013 to accommodate the new flight to Portland. Horizon Air will also open their ticket counters at 3:45am daily to assist passengers travelling on Alaska Airlines flight number 2022. Alaska Airlines flight number 2022, operated by Horizon Air, will provide daily service from RDM to PDX with a Bombardier Q400 aircraft with 76 passenger seats.

 

The flight time is a quick 43 minutes. Although this is an early morning departure passengers are encouraged to arrive early to complete the screening process. Once through the screening process coffee, beverages, snacks, gifts and magazines are available for purchase from the concessionaire. Horizon Air’s ticket counter closes thirty minutes prior to departure time. Passengers must be completed with the security screening process and ready to board their flight 30 minutes prior to departure time according to the airline. 

 

The Redmond Municipal Airport (Roberts Field – RDM) is the aviation gateway to Central Oregon.
