Now in it’s fourth year, the unConference is a place to share ideas and talk about the Bend Technology and Business Startup ecosystem.

Highlights:
FoundersPad Concept Pitch Competition – Concept-stage companies will pitch their hearts out to convince the crowd that they deserve the coveted “Wild Card” spot to pitch in the Concept Stage Competition at BVC the next day.

 
Community Lounge – Food by Tate & Tate catering, beer from Silver Moon, a 3-D printer and activities with the High Desert Maker Mill and a robot invasion by FIRST Team 753.

 
What’s the agenda at the 2013 unConference?

Presentation this year are going to be concept-stage companies competing for a wild-card entry into the Bend Venture Conference. These pitches will be 3 minutes each (no slides) with 5 minutes of discussion: 

2:00 – 2:30: Welcome Networking

2:30 – 3:30: BVC WildCard Pitches – Round 1

3:45 – 4:45: BVC WildCard Pitches – Round 2

5:00: End of Voting & Winner Announcement

5:20: Deschutes Brewery Tour (limit 15 people)

FoundersPad Concept Pitch CompetitionFoundersPad, the startup accelerator in Bend, works with a select few companies for an intense 12-week bootcamp on Lean Startup Principles, Customer Development, and – you guessed it – pitching for investment funds. Concept-stage companies will pitch their hearts out to convince the crowd that they deserve the coveted “Wild Card” spot to pitch in the Concept Stage Competition at BVC the next day. The pitches are fast, the passion is high, the reward is $10,000 and it all comes down to your vote.
