Zolo Media Adds ABC Affiliate KOHD-TV

Acquisition is finalized as BendBroadband’s Zolo Media expands its Central Oregon footprint. Zolo Media, part of the network of BendBroadband companies, has obtained approvals and finalized the purchase of KOHD-TV, the ABC-affiliated television station serving Central Oregon. 

 
Zolo Media, which announced its intent to acquire KOHD in July, plans to continue to offer the station’s content and regional coverage including the KEZI Eugene station news.“We’re proud to include KOHD as part of our portfolio of options for local viewers and advertisers,” said Tim Olson, Vice President and General Manager of Zolo Media.

“We will offer the same high standards of service and quality to complement our existing properties including KBNZ-LP CBS and our targeted cable networks’ reach in the Central Oregon community.”

Zolo Media acquired the station from Chambers Communications, based in Eugene. KOHD’s master control system will move to Bend in November.All of KOHD’s employees were invited to join the Zolo Media staff.  

KOHD is available on BendBroadband channels 9 and 609 HD and is available over the air on channel 55.1. Questions concerning the KOHD acquisition should be directed to Zolo Media representatives at (541) 312-6567.
