Holm Made Toffee Co. was a big winner at the 10th Annual Oregon Chocolate Festival held in Ashland, Oregon March 7–9 featuring over 30 of the Oregon’s best artisan chocolate companies. Three industry judges were on hand all weekend to sample and critique the chocolatiers. Eight awards were presented – with Holm Made Toffee Co. receiving two of the eight. The judges awarded Holm Made Toffee Co. “Best Chocolate Candy” for their Oregon Hazelnut and Lavender Toffee. Holm Made Toffee Co. also was awarded the fan voted, “People’s Choice Award” at the conclusion of the event. 
“We are thrilled that our company was awarded Best Chocolate Candy as well as the People’s Choice Award, said Randi Holm of Holm Made Toffee Co. “Over the past decade this event has become a premier destination for chocolate lovers and chocolatiers in the Pacific Northwest. There is a high standard of quality at this event, so we feel honored to have been recognized by both the judges and the public with these awards.”
Holm Made Toffee Co. had planned to enter the product competition with their Sea Salt flavor – but at the last minute decided to hand the judges their brand new Lavender flavor. “We decided to just go for it!” said Holm Made Toffee Co. Owner Donna Holm.
“This candy was so new that only our family members had taste tested it. We had no idea how people would react to the flavor profile. It ended up a winner and we have no doubt we’ll continue with the recipe.” The Lavender flavor is a seasonal offering and available for a limited time.
