Experts in search, social media, creative and marketing to light up Bend for sixth consecutive year October 13-14.

The Bend WebCAM conference hosted by Pixelsilk and AdFed of Central Oregon announced its line-up of top-notch conference keynote speakers. The popular conference imports some of the leading innovators from around the country, specifically in the web, creative and marketing fields – and attracts attendees from the Pacific Northwest, up and down the West Coast and beyond. This year’s BendWebCAM will be held in Bend October 13-14, 2014.

Keynote speaker Bruce Kasanoff, founder/story teller at Now Possible, said, “I’ve always wanted to visit Bend. When the news arrived that Bend WebCAM would be gathering the most creative folks for miles around, I was the first to sign on. I can’t wait to help bring out the best talent in others.”

Kasanoff will present The Best Talent is Bringing Out Talent in Others. Those who cultivate talent in others find their lives enriched and their careers supercharged. This talk is a special expanded version of the 2013 article that mattered most to LinkedIn’s 300 million members. Kasanoff is a highly entrepreneurial communicator, social media pro and innovative marketer with over 110,000 followers on LinkedIn. He was an original partner of the customer strategy consultancy, Peppers and Rogers Group. He has authored or co-authored five critically acclaimed books including Simplify Your Future. Making it Personal, Business Evolves, Leadership Endures; Smart Customers, Stupid Companies and How to Self-Promote Without Being a Jerk.

In addition to Kasanoff, other keynote speakers include:

Farrah Bostic, Founder/Story Teller at the Difference Engine

will present “Growth Hacking: What Lean Startup Principles Bring To Marketing.” Farrah will cover the basic concepts of Lean Startup thinking, how it applies to marketing or advertising strategy, and how companies can benefit from a growth hacking – low cost, social/viral alternatives to traditional advertising – approach to customer acquisition and retention.

Farrah has honed her expertise as an advisor to the world’s most respected brands, including Apple, Microsoft, Disney, Samsung and UPS. She has been a copywriter, digital creative director, group planning director, brand strategist, and innovations lead, working for some of the most creative and strategic agencies and consultancies in the world, including Wieden + Kennedy, TBWAChiatDay, Mad Dogs & Englishmen, Digitas, Hall & Partners, and OTX.

Michael King, director of Owned Media at Acronym

King’s topic will be announced at a later date, because he is likely to present about something that people aren’t even talking about yet! No matter what the topic ends up being, it’s safe to say that the Bend WebCAM audience will be getting a world premiere keynote presentation.

King returns to Bend by extremely popular demand after participating in the 2013 Bend WebCAM. Affectionately known as “the Don Draper of SEO,” he has an extensive background in software, web development and creative owned media solutions for many Fortune 500 brands. Previously, he was responsible for the SEO campaigns of LG, Citi, Sanofi Pasteur, Cartier and General Mills as the SEO lead at Public is Modem. He was member of the SEO team at Razorfish.
