Red Cross to Honor Local Businesses for Strengthening Community Resilience

The American Red Cross will honor nine Central Oregon businesses and organizations with Full Circle Partner Awards on July 25. To qualify, these important partners have participated in a least two arms of the Red Cross mission and have provided support for Red Cross disaster response teams. Those being honored include Bend Memorial Clinic, Bigfoot Beverages, Consumer Cellular, Deschutes Brewery, Deschutes County, Fred Meyer, Service Master of Bend, St. Charles Health Systems and The Bulletin.

 
“We’re thrilled recognize these partners for their contributions toward strengthening Center Oregon,” says Lisa Stroup, executive director of the Oregon Mountain River Chapter. “They’re truly role models for our community.” 

 
When: Friday, July 25 at noon 

 
Where: Deschutes Brewery Tap Room 1044 NW Bond Street Bend, OR 97701

 
What: Full Circle Partners support the collection of live-saving blood, provide valuable preparedness training to their staff and management, have a facility that is equipped with an AED and trained personnel to assist in the event of an emergency, and provide our communities with valuable resources such as shelter sites. Full Circle Partners ensure that trained Red Cross response teams and supplies are available in each Central Oregon County.
