Cornerstone Financial Planning Group Announces Strategic Partnership

Bend firm extends geographic reach to Willamette Valley

 

Retirement Consulting and Advisory firm Cornerstone Financial Planning Group has formally aligned its personnel and operations with Haven Financial Group based in Salem, Oregon.

 

The new partnership between Cornerstone and Haven Financial Group enables both entities to synchronize and leverage system platforms as well as provide additional service locations to their respective Oregon clientele.

Barbara Seaman co-founded Cornerstone Financial Planning Group with securities offered through PlanMember Securities in June 2010. “There’s an increasing need to continue delivering even more personalized client service contrasted with unprecedented global market volatility,” Seaman said. “The HFG-Cornerstone alliance will help provide the same home-town approach to our clients and also remain competitive with the big Wall Street brokerage firms.”

 

Seaman has been a practicing financial planner since 1986. Her practice emphasizes a financially conservative and holistic investment management approach utilizing various forms of securities and insurance products to meet a client’s financial objectives.

Mr. Koloen started his career with Waddell & Reed in 1984 and co-founded Willamette Financial Group in 2003. Koloen was a principal at Willamette Financial Group until 2009 when he sold his ownership in the firm to a Wisconsin-based securities interest. After two years of independent consulting work to other financial advisors, Alan joined Haven Financial Group in March, 2011.
