Building a Better Bend is hosting two lectures by David C. Bagnoli, AIA, LEED AP on October 17. In addition to the free evening lecture at 6:30pm, Building a Better Bend is co-presenting a mid-day lecture at the City Club of Central Oregon.

TITLE: Prospects for Collaboration: Common Opportunities for a Small City Campus.In light of our upcoming four-year university, Bagnoli – an expert on smart growth at colleges and universities- will speak to us about the challenges and opportunities of a small city campus. He’ll discuss different types of universities and how they affect important issues like the economy, traffic, business growth, parking, the arts and real estate. The new planner from OSU will be joining David during this evening’s discussion to talk specifically about the OSU Bend campus.
