PCA Pain Care Center Opens in Bend

PCA Pain Care Center announces the opening of its new interventional pain clinic in Central Oregon.  “We are excited to be a part of this community,” said Charlie Forbush, practice establishment manager for PCA. “We are experts in relieving pain through a variety of minimally-invasive surgical and non-surgical techniques as well as medication management.  Our team specializes in creating an individually customized pain care plan for each patient. PCA Pain Care Center accepts all insurance providers. We are now accepting new patients and look forward to scheduling you for an appointment this week. Our clinic will start seeing patients on Monday October 24.”

Heading up the new clinic is Dr. Christine Hoglund who enjoys the outdoors, skiing, traveling and spending time with her family.  They recently relocated to the area and are actively involved in the community through the opening of the new pain management clinic, the Chamber of Commerce and other organizations.

She has spent the last seven years working at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii as an anesthesiologist specializing in pain care management and caring for soldiers and their families.  Dr. Hoglund completed her anesthesiology residency at the University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital in Florida and received fellowship training in interventional pain management at West Virginia University. She is a diplomat of the American Board of Anesthesiology and is board certified in anesthesiology.
